Quay facilities for fishery for human consumption

At Thyboron, the fish auction and box washing facility are close to the quay and each other at Konsumkaj. Fishing vessels dock at a quay with easy access for discharging and refilling supplies, and there is also free Wi-Fi.

Quay facilities for industrial fishing

Modern quays for industrial fishing with ample space, optimal navigating conditions and easy access to maritime services and supplies ensure an efficient stay at port and a quick return to sea.

Quay facilities for transit fishing

The Port of Thyboron has a long tradition of transit fishing, and has developed the harbour with numerous quays for this purpose. 747 metres of quay space is suitable for transit fishing.

International fish auction

Popular North Sea fish are distributed to consumers throughout the EU via the international fish auction in Thyboron. The fish are quality assured and have full traceability, so consumers can see where and when the fish have been caught. The efficient logistics at the fish auction ensure day-to-day delivery throughout most of the EU.

Fishmeal factory

The TripleNine A/S fishmeal factory in Thyboron produces large quantities of quality-assured raw materials such as fish meal and fish oil for feed products. The factory has a quayside location, and fish are pumped directly from fishing vessels into the factory’s production facility with gentle handling.
