Lang tradition of maritime services

The maritime services sector has grown strong, in step with advances in fishing and the growth of the port. The first facilities for maritime services were established at the Port of Thyboron in the 1930s. Since then, a four-track slipway has been added, and the largest floating dock on the Danish west coast. The latter has increased capacity since 2016 and can dock vessels up to 9,000 tonnes in size.
