Lemvig-Thyborøn Turistforening is our municipal tourist association. The tourist information centre offers help, information and advice to visitors to Lemvig, Thyborøn and the surrounding area. Lemvig-Thyborøn Turistforening runs the tourist information centre in Lemvig, while the tourist information centre in Thyborøn is at Kystcentret.
The tourist information centre sells fishing licences, Camping Key Europe, cycle route maps, postcards, posters, local art and crafts and CDs featuring the local folk group, Tørfisk. Why not hire a bicycle here? Cycling is a great way to get around and enjoy our beautiful natural surroundings at close quarters.
You can also find information about local attractions, hiking routes, accommodation, activities and events at the tourist information centre. Check out Lemvig-Thyborøn Turistforening's website for all this information and more.
The tourist information office is open (May-September): Monday-Friday 10.00-16.00, Saturday 10.00-13.00. (September-April): Monday-Friday 10.00-15.00.
Lemvig-Thyborøn Turistforening also runs Thyborøn Marina. The Marina is at the north end of the inner harbour at Quays 100, 101, 102 and 103. There are bollard moorings here for about 33 yachts. As we work closely with the Port of Thyborøn, we can always find space for more boats, large or small.
The marina services building was completely refurbished in 2015. Everything is shipshape here! There are fresh, airy shower and toilet facilities, a washing machine and tumble drier (free of charge to yachtsmen) on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is a lounge with chairs and tables (seats 48), a double kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and crockery/cutlery, and access to two balconies with garden furniture and amazing views.
Mooring fees are charged according to the size of your boat – from DKK 100 per day (24 hours). Pay mooring fees via CashLoader at the entrance to the marina services building. When you pay mooring fees, ask for an access card to the marina services building. You will need the access card to use the showers and get shore power from the power pedestals.
