The Athene fishing school ship berths at Gåseholmkaj. Young future fishermen sail from here to practise fishing in the North Sea. The fishing school also has facilities at the quay to hold various man overboard safety courses.

The quay offers safe working conditions for CTVs for offshore wind farm O&M, with quayside land for storing equipment and spare parts and quayside parking for a technician team, e.g. during the installation phase of offshore wind farms.
