Shared facilities to ensure excellent services

The shipyards at the Port of Thyboron have established facilities for maritime services over a number of years in the form of a slipway and floating dock, which are shared to ensure optimal utilisation. Together with its many quays with easy access for maritime services, Thyboron provides a strong maritime services base port.

Floating dock

The floating dock in Thyboron is the largest one on the Danish North Sea coast. It was jointly established and is shared by the two large shipyards – Kynde & Toft A/S and Thyborøn Skibs & Motor A/S. The floating dock has a capacity of 9,000 T and is operated by Thyborøn Shipyard.

Slipway

The slipway in Thyboron is a four-track facility, jointly established and owned by two shipyards – Kynde & Toft A/S and Thyborøn Skibs & Motor A/S. The slipway is operated by Thyborøn Ophalerbedding, and has a capacity of 500 T.
