Offshore

Thyborøn has a unique location on the Danish North Sea coast and an east-facing approach in the Limfjord. The Port of Thyborøn remains open, even in very rough weather. A good approach is hugely important for the offshore industry because waiting time is costly.

The Port of Thyborøn has set its sights on future offshore activities. The port infrastructure is developing by leaps and bounds. With the opening of Limfjordskaj II, the Port of Thyborøn is a fully equipped service base and installation harbour for offshore projects.

At Thyborøn, we have a broad range of service companies, which have the skills needed to service the industry. The North Sea Offshore Service Group is a cluster of providers, which have joined forces to attract offshore activities to Thyborøn. See menu to learn more about the NSOSG service cluster.
